The Jubilee Room was built in 1905 to accommodate the Parliamentary library. With its book lined shelves and ornate stained glass skylight, it is reminiscent of an Edwardian reading room. On the floor stand the Terrestrial and Celestial Globes, which were acquired for the library in 1868 and 1871 respectively. The display cases within the room hold various pieces from the Parliament House collection. The Jubilee Room is perfect for cocktail receptions, morning or afternoon tea and small meetings with its boardroom facilities.
